I love this guy (not in a romantic way, he’s horrible, I tell you) for I get a grasp of things from a whole new perspective when I get to talk to him. I love intelligent and opinionated people. They help me cope up with life.

Last Thursday, I was able to talk to Javy, Carlo and Nestor when we were in Botanical Garden. These gay guys. HAHA. Kidding. We were too lazy to paint (of course except Nestor, who paints like a mofo, and Javy, he ran out of turpentine, he had no choice but to wait for heaven to rain some turps) and so, we decided to have a little convo. We’ve talked just about everything — love, girls, androgyny, unatractiveness, etc. And I found it amusing when Carlo asked Javy about Javy’s crush, and Javy seemed lost for words. Woot. He told us he loved the smile. Hahaha! People, believe me, Javy is not the type of person who would get attracted to girls like that easily. He’s a total bunker. He loathes/knows little of anything mainstream and the thought of sex makes him want to barf. He never had a girlfriend, and he’s 23. And that fact alone keeps everyone wondering. Carlo asked, “Why not pursue a crush?” Javy answered, “It takes something. That person should really stand out in the crowd. And too bad for me, I still haven’t found that person. And about my crush, I just loved her smile. That’s it. It’s just infatuation, it’s not like I’m going to pursue her or something.” We were all left with a big question mark on our heads. Then Carlo added, “If that time comes that you have to marry someone, what would you choose? An ugly intellect or a beautiful dumb woman?” I, of course, was expecting the answer. Knowing Javy. He’s a man of words, and so I presumed that he would want the same as his partner. But we were wrong. We were so wrong. “I wouldn’t want to wake up each morning seeing an ugly face, no matter how intelligent she may be, and so I’d pick the beautiful but dumb woman, as long as her dumbness is tolerable.” WHAT?! Hahaha. Seriously? Did he just say that? That big guy really surprises me everytime. Does looks really matter? Another thought to ponder. Before, it never really mattered to me. But, what the hell? Javy had a point. Attitude, yeah, important, very important. But, admit to it. You wouldn’t want to see an ugly face every morning, knowing that you’d see that same face, deteriorating, for the rest of your life.
